Richard Illingworth is a former English cricketer and current cricket umpire. He was born on August 23, 1963.
Playing Career: He played as a left-arm spinner and right-handed batsman for Yorkshire and Derbyshire. He played in 9 <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Test%20matches">Test matches</a> and 25 <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/One%20Day%20Internationals">One Day Internationals</a> for England between 1991 and 1996.
Umpiring Career: After retiring from playing, Illingworth became a <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/cricket%20umpire">cricket umpire</a>. He joined the ECB's full-time list of umpires in 2006 and was promoted to the ICC International Panel of Umpires in 2009. He was then selected for the <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/ICC%20Elite%20Panel">ICC Elite Panel</a> of umpires in 2013.
